The text book does not provide a very comprehensive description
of the new HDTV standard (the ATSC standard).  Use the web to
find out about the new standard and write a desription of the
standard.  

Do not worry much (yet) about audio encoding or
MPEG-2 video compression.  Instead, focus on
Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the A/53 standard which you 
can get from the ATSC web site: 
   www.atsc.org

There is lots more good stuff on the web about HDTV.  Find it!
