Projects Info:

Welcome to the EE Capstone Projects Page! There are a number of exciting EE Capstone projects to choose from during the 2024-2025 academic year. Several of the projects are multidisciplinary projects, in which an EE team will be paired with teams from ME and/or CE. Many projects are sponsored either by a research group at UCSB or by one of our industry partners. Each student team is typically made up of 4-5 students. While teams are independently responsible for working on and completing their projects, each team is assigned a mentor, often from the group which is sponsoring the project, to provide technical guidance and assistance. Student teams work on their projects throughout the entire 2024-2025 academic year, and then present their work at the 2025 College of Engineering Engineering Design Expo on June 6, 2025. Available 2024-2025 EE and Multidisciplinary Capstone Projects are described below:
