- FPGAtool (version 1.02/GL) -- Windows-XP user application
- Provides user access to the Digilab FPGA board via a USB connection to a Windows-XP system. When JTAG boundary scan functionality is enabled in the user's downloaded RBF file pin state can be captured and overlaid on an image of the board. Mouse clicks on individual user pins provide current pin state in the feedback window.
- Quartus-II 5.1 -- SP1 web edition
- As a convenience to save download time from the Altera website, here is a UCSB-local copy of the free web edition of Quartus-II (version 5.1 SP1). If you wish to use this on your own laptop you will have to register with Altera (free) to get a license. Also, you should apply the patch 1.12 below.

- Repairs a bug in Quartus-II (5.1 web edition) pertaining to the use of JTAG boundary scan on Flex6000 devices. Already loaded on all machines in the UCSB ECE Digital Systems Lab.
- DigiLab FPGA Board PIC18F4550 microcode
- Internal microcode for the PIC18F4550. Provides USB I/O, flash memory loading, FPGA configuration, JTAG access. This microcode must be loaded into the on-board microcontroller via a special test fixture. It is not needed by users.
